# Image slots & generation prompts

The site currently ships with illustrated SVG placeholders. Generate the images
below (Midjourney / DALL·E / ImageFX / Firefly all work), save them with the
exact filename into this folder, then swap the `src` in `index.html` where noted.
Export as **JPG, quality 80, sRGB**; keep each under ~250 KB.

## House style — prepend to every prompt

> Warm documentary photograph, natural window light, Tier-2 Indian home or
> small-town school, honest and unposed, muted cream and navy tones with a
> single amber accent, shallow depth of field, 35mm, no text, no logos,
> no watermarks.

Negative / avoid: glossy stock-photo look, Western classrooms, laptops
(students use phones), studio lighting, exaggerated smiles, brand marks.

## Gallery (`#gallery`) — 4 photos at 1200×900 (4:3)

In `index.html`, each `<figure>` has `data-full="gallery/poster-*.svg"` and an
`<img src="gallery/poster-*.svg">` — change both to the new `.jpg`.

## Video poster (`#gallery`, wide tile) — 1600×630 (2.54:1)

`poster-video.jpg` → replaces `poster-video.svg` (also update `width="1200" height="472"`
on the `<img>` to `1600` / `630`).

Then add the real clip: `data-video="gallery/walkthrough.mp4"` (H.264, ≤ 15 MB)
or `data-yt="YOUTUBE_ID"` on that `<figure>`.

## Hero (optional photographic treatment) — 3 images at 1400×1000

The hero currently uses line illustrations that animate. If you want photos
there instead, generate these and I will wire them in as a photo-plus-illustration
composite (photo behind, red-pen doodles on top), which keeps the exam-paper feel:

tripod, evening; framing leaves the left third calm for text.

## Schools (`#schools`) — 1200×700, optional

`school-hall.jpg` — A government-aided school classroom in a tier-3 Indian town, a
projector showing a live teacher on the wall, 30 students in uniform watching,
a teacher-in-charge at the side; morning light through shuttered windows.

### Checklist after dropping files in
1. Filenames match exactly (lowercase, `.jpg`).
2. Update the `src` / `data-full` attributes named above.
3. Reload once with the sticky nav on “Gallery” — tiles should stay 4:3 and
   the lightbox should open the full image.
